5 Country Songs to Jam to With Your Windows Down This Summer

Personally, my favorite part of this nice weather is cruising anywhere and everywhere with all of my friends, blasting songs that make it feel more and more like summer. Here's a few to get your summer playlist started.

1. Barefoot Blue Jean Night by Jake Owen

This one is pretty old. Most of my friends know all of the words, even the ones who claim to "hate country music." It's a kind of summer-jam-meets-summer-love song, which is perfect to scream at the top of your lungs this summer.

2. Chicken Fried by Zac Brown Band

This one is just a classic. No matter what time of year it is, I will happily jam to this song over and over again until I completely lose my voice. It is one of the first songs I ever learned when I was a kid, so it's an oldie but definitely a goodie.

3. Sixteen by Thomas Rhett

This one's more on the newer side, as it came out in 2017. It's all about growing up and talks about the big phases of life as you get older, so it's very relatable. It is also extremely catchy and just a mood-lightening song.

4. Drunk on You by Luke Bryan

This song is perfect to listen to all summer, every summer. I have loved it for years and years, and it never gets old. When summer is first starting off, listen to it as often as you can handle to get you excited and in the mood for warm weather and sunny days with your besties.

5. Toes by Zac Brown Band

Now that I think about it, pretty much any Zac Brown Band song is perfect for summer car rides. But this one in particular is about literally being on the beach. It is so upbeat and catchy, you'll find yourself singing it in your head all summer long.

First Snow

It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year!

Sorina Bindea

I have never understood why grown-ups complain when the leaves are all off the trees, and the temperatures take a decided turn towards the zero on the thermometer. I hear complaints about the impending winter weather, and the driving in the snow and ice. We live in Pennsylvania, so I bite my tongue instead of stating the obvious: Maybe you should move to a warmer climate?

Aside from the great hits like "Dreams," "Linger," and "Zombie," you may not know many other songs by "The Cranberries." United Nations Day 2023: Understanding The U.N.

As the General Assembly convenes, here is the United Nations 101

12268

For an organization that literally unites the nations, it amazes me how little is taught about the United Nations in schools, or at least where I went to school. It wasn't until I went to college and got a higher education that I learned the basics of the United Nations. I believe that every American should know at least the basics of what the United Nations does, especially since our country is one of the 5 permanent members, and what better day to do that than United Nations Day (today!). So here are the main "organs" of the United Nations:
