Dove did a study that found only 4% of women consider themselves beautiful, so that's about 280000000 million women that consider themselves beautiful out of 3 billion five hundred million.
So take that and look around you, there are people that walk past you every day that actually believe they look like trash. I don't know about you but this tears me apart, why is that everything we are is somehow not enough?
We need to lose more weight or put on some more makeup? No, we need to dye our hair so we can look like our favorite Instagram model or rapper right? Wrong the truth is the only person we need to look like is ourselves but society tells us otherwise.
At the beginning of time, God created the heavens and the earth, when he created man he created them to show his strength and when he created women, he created them to show his beauty so how is it we've found ourselves so far from who God created us to be? Take a moment to really ask yourself if you consider yourself to be beautiful. Once you come back I am here to tell you that you are beautiful and that there is no social media platform or person that determines that, social media plays a big part in our lives.
But I find that our (my) biggest we mistake is that we place our value in everything but the lord. Girls if your reading this know that you are the most beautiful creations God has placed on this earth so live like it, and I get that its summertime but just because it's summertime doesn't mean you need to post your body on social media to prove self-value, know that you are so much more than that.
There are so many things that the enemy uses to steal our confidence. But know in those moments of you (me) feeling down that just because you (I) feel like this doesn't make it true, the lie that (I) your worthless the lie that your just not enough is so far from the truth.
"We were hurt people hurting people " so spread the love, Jealousy is one of the most toxic things that can come into your heart so take some time out of your day to remind someone else how beautiful they are, it's just not said enough, We live in such a beautiful world let's act like it.
