Changing leaves, chilly weather, pumpkins, and Halloween! Just a couple of the reasons I love autumn. Another reason? Halloween movies! There's nothing better than curling up with some apple cider and a spooky movie in the fall. Its the perfect way to get into the mood for the holiday! Here are some must watch movies this October!

1. "Hocus Pocus" (1993).

It's really not Halloween until I've watched this movie. There's something so awesomely nostalgic about it — I still remember searching for it in Blockbuster when I was a kid during this time of year!

2. "The Nightmare Before Christmas" (1993).

While I only just watched this one for the first time a few days ago, it was the perfect movie to get me pumped for Halloween! It's gorgeous, funny, and really makes me appreciate the holiday!

3. "It" (2017).

This movie is so good. Not only does it really deliver some scares, it also has amazing acting and hilarious interactions between the characters.

4. "The Corpse Bride" (2005).

Another Tim Burton film and another perfect Halloween movie! Creepy but also somehow sweet, this movie is a great one to watch in October.

5. "The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown" (1966).

This one is a classic and can't not be watched! This is another one that definitely makes me feel nostalgic. It'd be perfect to put on while you're carving your pumpkins!

6. "Halloweentown" (1998).

I still remember watching this every year around Halloween when it would come on Disney Channel! I always wanted to visit Halloweentown (and still do).

7. "Harry Potter" Series (2001-2011).

There's something about fall that always makes me want to watch the Harry Potter movies. Or read the Harry Potter series. Either way, I just love the story during this time of year!
