These puppets aren't your mother's muppets. They've had a taste of the real world and boy, do they have a lot to say. Much like us post-college grads, their expectations didn't meet reality, and that's okay. After all, this is real life and it's not always perfect. After all, the experience you gained inside and outside of class have made you more than capable of facing all of life's challenges. Plus, you were sure to make some life-long friends along the way.

For those of you who aren't familiar with Avenue Q, it explores the newfound struggles of the adult-world in the most satiric way possible with lovable, vulgar puppets. Much like us, the protagonist, Princeton, is fresh out of college and ready to find his purpose.

This coming of age tale shows that success doesn't always have a straight path and sometimes everything we've been working for comes true when we least expect it. Whether you graduated college months or years ago, there is no deadline on making your dreams come true. Here are seven catchy tunes that sound a lot like what we laugh and cry about.

1. What Do You Do with a B.A. in English?

What do you do with a B.A. in English anyway? Nothing says “welcome to the real world” like impending college debt waiting to haunt you until you're about 80. All of us starving artists and tortured souls just wanted to make a contribution to the human race and of course, find our purpose. We really don't ask for that much.

2. I'm Not Wearing Underwear Today

That's right. You're a functioning adult and you have every right to wear, or not wear whatever you want!

3. There Is Life Outside Your Apartment

Sometimes life makes you want to lock yourself in your apartment (or your room in your parent's house), but as long as no plague hits within the next five minutes, there is life outside. But seriously, one night out with the right people can do wonders on your entire outlook. You'll probably find yourself wanting to stay out!

4. Schadenfreude

It isn't nice, but everyone does do it. The haters will continue finding joy in your struggles, but you can't help but to feel the same glee when you hear bad news about that bully from high school. It just makes the world go round. Besides, being glad your not someone else just makes you love being you even more.

5. I Wish I Could Go Back to College

Who would have thought that we would miss the cafeteria food, sitting on the lawn, or even the dry erase boards in your dorm. The world was so open and your dreams were through the roof. You could change your major, stay up until four in the morning, join a play, and drop a class with no regrets.

6. Fantasies Come True

Sometimes fantasies become reality in the blink of an eye. You can sit and overthink it all you like, but life is rarely kind for no reason. So as the cliché the saying goes, when life hands you lemons, make lemonade.

7. Purpose

In high school, they told you to apply to college. In college, they told you to get an internship. After college, they grumpily told you to get a job and a complimentary “good luck”. They never told you about finding your purpose, the most important thing of all. It has no due date or set location, but when you find it, you'll know. Now is the best time to step out of the path most followed and find what makes you feel alive.

As much as you miss college, you know that you're a better person because of the place and the people you met there. The experience shaped you to be a well-rounded individual, capable of anything. Don't forget about all of those crazy dreams you had during those four years, because there's no better time than now to chase them.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
