Summer can be a slow season for TV, but there are some fan favorites and awesome shows coming back with new seasons over the next month. If you don't want to miss the new seasons with some great content, check out this list and mark your calendars!


"Orange is the New Black" | July 27th

All episodes of season 6 of this Netflix hit show drop on Friday, July 27th! Follow the former Litchfield inmates as they get split up and sent to maximum security prison after the wild prison riot during season 5.

"Casual" | July 31st

This Hulu original is back with it's fourth and final season on Tuesday, July 31st. We'll be sad to see this witty, real comedy go, but with all season 4 episodes dropping at once, it will certainly make for some good binge-watching! If you haven't yet watched this show, don't sleep on it! It has a 92% Rotten Tomatoes rating and a strong cult following.


"The Sinner" | August 1st

USA's smash hit "The Sinner" is back with season 2 on Wednesday, August 1st. If you loved the first season's case, just wait for season 2! The new episodes will focus on a completely different case than season 1. However, Detective Ambrose will be back on this new case.


"Better Call Saul" | August 6th

This "Breaking Bad" prequel has been making its own name for itself and is back with season 4 on Monday, August 6th. This 4th season, viewers will see Jimmy McGill start to turn into Saul Goodman and become a truly criminal lawyer. Tune into the action on AMC.


"Ballers" | August 12th

The Rock and the rest of the Ballers are back on Sunday, August 12th. Catch Elizabeth Warren's favorite show when season 4 returns on HBO. This dramedy brings you more sports packed action as a group of football players and their agents continue to navigate the industry.


"Ozark" | August 31st

Netflix's dark drama "Ozark" is back with season 2 on Friday, August 31st! Follow the crazy drama surrounding The Byrde's due to patriarch Marty being a dirty accountant and all family members getting roped into the shady dealings. With all episodes dropping at once, this will be a nice Labor Day Weekend binge.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
