Winter break is here, and after a long semester of lectures, studying, and essays a break is truly needed.

For some of us it’s a permanent break like I’ve graduated and done with college, and for others, it’s temporary for the Spring. Whether it’s temporary or permanent here are 20 things to do over Winter break!

1. Read time to catch up on reading not school related! Serious reading will be done this break!

2. Clean your room at home since a new chapter is starting and having a clean room can go along way!

3. Catch up on shows on Netflix since it means more time to binge watch shows.

4. Catch up on your favorite Youtubers, and binge watch their gameplay videos. Winter break allows you to catch up on things you only watch a little bit of at a time.

5. Play video games since it’s a time to relax and kick back!

6. Journal since it’s a good time to reflect on the year, and the semester.

7. Throw the old semester stuff away since you don’t need it anymore.

8. Work on the novel you have been meaning to write, but can’t due to school work.

9. Hangout with friends since end of school means you can finally have a life now.

10. Work more to earn more money to get the things you want.

11. See family since the holidays are a time to spend with family you haven’t seen in a while.

12. Go to parties and have a few drinks since you should celebrate the end of a stressful semester.

13. Cuddle with pets since if you live on campus and come home then you definitely miss them.

14. Catch up on sleep since studying all night have probably taken their toll on you.

15. Catch up on your favorite podcasts since you finally have the time to enjoy them.

16. Watch Christmas movies since they are all playing this time of year.

17. Go on a vacation since it’s needed after a stressful semester.

18. Buy gifts for family if you haven’t caught up on it yet due to school.

19. Make sure your car is up to date on the inspection especially if you forgot due to school.

20. Enjoy the break since it’s a nice escape until the semester begins or you have to look for another job.
