15 Things You Need to Know About Nice People
reactiongifs.me

Everyone knows a genuinely nice person, and sometimes they seem like they are always happy and optimistic. You may not understand how, if something terrible is going on with them, they can still ask if they can do something for you. You may start to believe that they may not even be human, that they are borderline nice robots --which is beyond reality.

The reality is that nice people are just like everyone else. We have bad days and we can be mean, but to us it just feels better to be happy and help others. This is one of the many things you should know about nice people.

1. We are not all sunshine and rainbows 24/7.

We have our bad days; we just don’t always chose to express them.

2. It is not a sin to be mean to us.

If you need to tell us no, tell us no, it is better for the both of us.

3. Saying no is hard for us.

Hurting someone's feelings scare us so, of course, I'll help you move on my birthday!

4. Confrontation makes us tremble.

To be honest, I'd rather set myself on fire

5. Believe it or not we can be mean.

Especially when people use us as a doormat -- not cool, bro.

6. If you see our mean side, we are not joking

Close your mouth, it's not that shocking.

7. Just because we are nice to you does not mean we want you.

Yes, I will talk to you till 5 a.m, no I don't want a dick pic, it's not like that.

8. We will always pay you back.

Trust me -- as soon as I get that $10, I will give it to you.

9. Asking for favors is a huge deal.

Be honored that we asked you, it took a lot of courage to get the nerve to ask.

10. We will not correct you.

I don’t know what’s worse: telling you that my name is not Meghan, or that you have been calling me Meghan even though my name tag says Morgan.

11. Don't tell us how nice we are, it's not cute.

“You are too nice!” Yeah, I am nice, don’t hold it against me.

12. If you test us, we will never like you.

Don’t test someone’s niceness, enough is enough.

13. I am not your therapist.

Yes, I will listen to your problems and help you out, but after the sixth time I am cutting you off.

14.The simplest things make us happy.

Actually, anything makes us happy, especially helping our friends.

15. We will never change who we are.

I like being nice and I don’t care if you don’t like it.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
