12 Signs You Are An Online Shopaholic

The first step is admitting you have a problem. And I admit it: I am an online shopaholic, and I am proud! These days, you can buy anything online. The progression of technology has allowed for a new convenient and instant way to make purchases; all you have to do is get online, press a couple of buttons, and it shows up at your doorstep in 5-7 business days. With the convince of shopping online, its easy to get a little carried away. So here are 12 confessions of an online shopaholic.

1. You know your credit card information by heart.

This might be the first sign that you have a problem.

2. You can't help but look online when you get emails about the deals.

You are signed up to get emails from a plethora of different stores, so you are the first one alerted about all the deals. And you just can't help but pass up a deal.

3. Your eyes have become keen to detail.

You want what you have paid for, so you have gotten really good at examining every single detail from the pictures online. There will be no surprises when you receive your purchases.

4. You no longer enjoy IRL shopping as much.

Maybe you never liked shopping in stores to begin with, but once you get comfortable shopping from behind the screen, it's more convenient and less work than shopping in person. Going to the stores is so much work; why waste a trip when you can get everything you want from the comfort of your own bed?

5. Free shipping is basically goals.

Whether this be part of a deal or you have to spend a certain amount to get the free shipping, its hard to pass it up.

6. You might have been confronted about spending money online.

For me, it was my parents yelling at me to stop shopping online. But it could've been a friend make comments on the down-low about all money you spend online. Whoever it was, once other people start noticing that you do a lot of online shopping, its probably a tell-tale sign that you are an online shopaholic.

7. You don't worry about clothes not fitting.

By now, you have probably gotten really good at determining the size variations between different stores, so you don't have to second guess if something will fit you properly.

8. Opening your packages once they arrive is like Christmas.

Its probably not a good sign if you have forgotten what your ordered, and therefore, it is like Christmas because you didn't know what you were getting. Nevertheless, its really exciting opening the packages and seeing your orders in real life.

9. You catch yourself mindlessly looking even when you have nothing to shop for.

If you scroll through pages of new arrivals when you are bored, then you are probably an online shopaholic.

10. Shopping during a sale is basically like the store paying you for the clothes, right?

Maybe your reasoning has become a little skewed, but you are still getting those good deals!

11. You can't help but shop online.

It's so hard to ignore a good sale or to stop yourself from looking online completely. Maybe you do have an online shopping problem...

12. Once you have it under control, online shopping is a great convenience!

Maybe you have fallen off the wagon a time or two and gone a little crazy with the online shopping; we've all been there. But once you can control your habit, online shopping is a really great way to get good deals and get the clothes you want. And then be able to open the packages like its Christmas!
