Okay, I don't know about you, but I'm hungry in the house and I'm in the house hungry. There is not much we can do during quarantine, but we can make our tummies happy while also supporting small, local restaurants.

I'm salivating just thinking about all the good foods we can order-in and my heart is happy thinking about all the New Jersey restaurants that are actively supporting those on the frontlines and all those stuck at home.

I have found a handful of restaurants that are taking the health and safety of customers and employees very seriously. Whether it's no contact, curbside pickup or front door delivery, these restaurants got your back.

If you're in Bergen County, New Jersey and hungry like me, give these 12 places a call and thank me later:

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.
