With all the advice the world throws at us, this is what we should be listening to.

1. You Are Loved

Sometimes we hear the saying "Jesus loves you" so much, that it becomes numb to us. But when you slow down and truly believe it, the way you live your life will change.

2. You Are Seen And Heard

In a world of major technology use, sometimes it feels as if were never seen or heard by anyone in a genuine way. However, the God of universe changes that. God made the oceans, commands the winds, created every star, and still, He not only knows your name but hears your deepest cries for help.

3. You Have A Purpose

Being a college student, its easy to fall into the thought that our major is everything. Yes, that is our occuption but we have something bigger to be apart of. God calls each of us by name for a specific reason. To influence the world in a love saturated way.

4. You Are A Sinner

Yes, you are a sinner, but so am I. Theres a quote that states, "We sin more than we ever could imagine but we are loved more than we ever could believe." Yes we mess up daily but we are loved by a God despite our failures.

5. But, You are Forgiven

It is true that we are sinners but it is also true that we are forgiven for every sin we commit. Whether the past present or future, God has forgiven every single sin against Him. He forgives and washes it away like the morning mist.

6. You Are Redeemed

Not only are you forgiven for your sins but God redeems you. Gods redemption frees us from the feeling of guilt. We can go throughout life being confident in the fact that Jesus carried our shame to the cross.

7. You Are Not Bound By Sin.

We all make mistakes but they do not define us. Our past, present, and future sins do not have the power to control us unless we give it to them. In Christ we are made into a new creation, born into a new family, where our sins have no power.

8. Fear Has No Grip On You

We all struggle with fear daily but with the strength of Christ we don't have to live life commanded by it. God gives us hope for tomorrow and the peace to trust him today. We don't have to fear the future or any situation because God is already there.

9. Its Okay To Mess Up

We live in a very performance driven society that pressures us not to make a mistake. However in reality, we are going to fail more often than not. But thats okay! This life is a journey, a process of growing in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. So take a deep breath and rest in His grace.

10. My Life Is Messy But God Loves My Messy Life

Our lives are complicated. We go through seasons of joy and seasons of grief. We fail each other, don't rise up to the occasion, and disappoint ourselves. But, God is bigger than us. He is bigger than our problems and He is delighted when we welcome Him into our messy lives to heal and mend.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
