We all know it's that wonderful time of the year again! It's time to break out your holiday spirit and get ready for all the fall festivities that are coming! Anyone who loves fall knows that there are millions of things to love and even more things to get excited about!

1. Cozy Sweaters

Yes ladies and gentleman, it's time! Break out your coziest comfiest sweaters and wear them with pride! Plus, it's time to stock up on even cuter ones this cool season and get the newest styles to fit in with the season.

2. Colorful Leaves

Now is the time when the leaves begin to shed their green coats and change into their own unique color. Now while you're driving or walking outside you can finally enjoy the colorful rainbows of leaves in every direction!

3. Cool Hikes

If hiking is on your bucket list then now is the time to take action. Since the weather is cool, you can spend a lot more time outside enjoying nature rather than hiking in 95 degree weather dreading every solitary second you are outside. Plus, you get more time to soak in the gorgeous leaves!

4. The Fresh Clean Air

You know it's the most wonderful time of the year when you go outside and you can actually breathe. That first cool breath of air of every fall season is the most satisfying feeling you'll ever get.

5. Halloween Movies!

Now this is my favorite! Every fall, all of the channels on TV break out their Halloween Marathons and sometimes they even start early! Thankfully now you can binge watch movies on Netflix without waiting for your favorite fall movies to come on.

6. Bonfires

Bonfires are one of my most favorite things during the chilly weather. I love to sit outside around a fire with my friends or family and just talk or listen to music. I especially love to make s'mores!

7. Carving Pumpkins

I love to go to a grocery store and see huge crate of pumpkins just waiting to be carved or waiting to be used to make festive food! I love to sit outside on a cool day an carve pumpkins and be able to set them up and watch them glow!

8. Football Games

I'm usually not one for football but one game I will not ever miss is the Homecoming game! I love to go and sit with my friends and my boyfriend and look at all the beautiful girls walk on the field. I also like the games during the chilly weather so you can bundle up instead of having a heatstroke in the summer months.

9. Halloween!

I LOVE all things scary! I love scary movies, haunted houses, scary stories, etc. I also love watching little kids dress up and have so much fun getting candy and looking cool while doing it. I especially love the candy that comes out around this year because it's always such a treat after you have waited so long to eat it!

10. It's almost Thanksgiving and Christmas!

I don't know about you guys, but I love these two holidays. I love the excitement that builds up in you as each holiday approaches. I love to go to stores and see the decorations change, and all the people in such happy moods because of the holidays. It's such an amazing time to spend with the people you love and I can't wait for it every single year!

I know that I get overly excited for the time of the year and I can't wait to spend it with the ones that I love and do some awesome things this year! I'm so ready to begin this fall adventure and make all new memories!

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
