10 Signs Your Boyfriend is Hotter Than You

Ladies, it's no secret that we love attractive men. Whether it's those blue-eyed blondes, or those tall dark and handsome fellas, they somehow always seem to make us weak in the knees. Boys like this have a way of stealing our hearts with a quick flash of that “love me" smile. Okay, you get my point: cute boys are just irresistible.

So when you win over the hottie, what exactly does this mean? Now, all eyes are on him. Is he more attractive than you are? If he is, is this sucha bad thing? Well, you can decide. Here are 10 telltale signs that Mr. Sexy Back is hotter than you, and an explanation as to why this might not necessarily be a bad thing.

  1. He does all of the talking when you have some convincing to do. What can you say? His charm never fails.
  2. He has twice the amount of girl friends than you do. Honestly, you can't blame 'em.
  3. Everyone knows you as “_________'s girl." Like dating him is your claim to fame, puh-lease.
  4. He chooses healthy options such as tofu and brown rice while you're working on putting down your third corn dog. Who cares, you already have the boy, right?
  5. He's so in touch with fashion that he knows terms like “bralette" and "joggers" before you do. Hey, at least he can teach you a thing or two.
  6. He's the world's biggest gym rat, so obviously he has got a rocking bod. Meanwhile, you Shasta-size by watching Grey's and catching up with Ben andJerry's.
  7. You have to change out of the oversize sweatshirt and ripped jeans when you eat out so that people don't think he's taking his cousin for food. Okay waitress, is it really so hard to believe I'm here as his date?
  8. Both girls and guys seem to be captivated by him. Conversations and shared looks between him and his best friends are often questionable.
  9. While he's surrounded by your peers at a party, you constantly find yourself dancing alone in the corner. Who wants to be the center of attention anyway?
  10. He drives a sexy old school Cadillac, and you've got your ol' chevro-legs. At least he'll drive you home to avoid those constant walks-of-shame, right?

If you identify with any of these, don't worry. Dating a boy who is more attractive than you can actually be a really good thing. Once you realize this, you may find that you can learn a thing or two from him. Now, you may find yourself kicking ass at the gym more often than not. You might start presenting yourself in clothes that don't resemble grandma's hand-me-downs. Hell, you might even trade in the hot pockets for some home-cooked goodness. Who knows? Falling for that irresistibly attractive boy may be the best thing that's ever happened to you.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
