Every group of friends has that one friend that no one really knows how he/she became friends with them. But somehow they're here and now that they know too many secrets and have heard you talk about countless people behind their back, they kinda have to stay. Sound familiar? Well, in my group of friends, I am that person. I don't know why my best friends choose to put up with me or how I got blessed with them, but regardless, I'm glad they do and I don't know what I'd do without them. Here are some struggles I, as the weird friend, face every day, as told by the weirdest friend of them all, Andy Dwyer.
1. Your friends are always laughing.
Now, are they laughing with me because I'm funny.. Or laughing at me because I'm weird?
2. You're used to people asking "What is wrong with you?"
Nothing, really, I just don't know how to be normal.
3. Any time you try to be cool, you just end up being really, really awkward.
Alright, be cool. You don't want to freak these people out......too late.
4. Your friends think something is wrong when you're not being a total weirdo.
5. People are often confused by things you find funny.
Okay, so maybe I could've toned that down just a little... But then it wouldn't have been as fun. It'll be okay. They'll get over it.
6. "Stop acting like that, people are staring"
7. Your flirting is well...mediocre.
.
8. You're really good at making every situation a great time.
9. You have a hard time being a real person.
10. You have that one friend who always encourages your weirdness.
There's nothing wrong with being the weird friend. To be honest, I'd rather be weird than normal. We keep the laughs going and make the silences awkward. Weirdos unite.
