'One Tree Hill' is one of the best shows out there. It doesn't matter how many times I watch it, I always end up watching it again and again - and still crying at the same scenes like it is the first time that I have seen the show. Brooke Davis is the character that I find that I can relate to the most - and the one that I ended up caring for the most.

1. She says things that I and so many other girls can relate to.

2. Whenever she is upset about a breakup, she channels that energy into something productive - like starting her fashion like Clothes Over Bros.

3. She taught me that the labels that we are given by society don't mean anything about who we are as a person.

4. Her friends mean everything to her - they are the reason that she is who she is.

5. After her attack in the store, she didn't live in fear but rather fought back. I thought that this was one of her strongest moments.

6. She brought to light some of the double standards that exist in society.

7. She is unapologetically her.

8. She wanted a guy who was going to fight for her - something I think we all secretly want.

9. Whenever she would cry, I would cry.

10. She loved Jamie like he was her kid.

11. No matter how many times she got hurt, she never gave up on love.

12. She gave us all hope that one day we will find our own Julian.

13. She thought that she couldn't get pregnant, but she ended up having two beautiful sons. She got the happily ever after that she always deserved.

Overall, Brooke Davis is an incredible character. I loved to see how much she grew over the 9 seasons One Tree Hill was on the air, and I was definitely sad to see it go. We got to see Brooke transform completely - but even in her high school days when she cared about herself more than anything else, I still found myself able to relate to her and love her.

It's truly amazing the impact that movies and shows can have on a person's life. I felt like I genuinely knew these characters once the show was over - and that "knowing" them has changed my life for the better.

New England Summers Are The BEST Summers

Why you should spend your next summer in New England.

Three years ago, I chose to attend college in Philadelphia, approximately 360 miles away from my small town in New Hampshire. I have learned many valuable lessons away from home, and have thoroughly enjoyed my time spent in Pennsylvania. One thing that my experience has taught me, however, is that it is absolutely impossible to beat a New England summer.

Yes, the math major is doing a math-related post. What are the odds? I'll have to calculate it later. Many people have probably learned about the Fibonacci sequence in their high school math classes. However, I thought I would just refresh everyone's memories and show how math can be beautiful and apply to physical things everywhere around us with stunning examples.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.
