I'm a 20-year-old journalism student from Brazil and I've studied english and writing my whole life. I knew from the beginning that I wanted to pursue a career in writing since I love reading, writing and can do both with ease. I speak and write in four languages (Portuguese, English, Spanish and French), practice boxing and I also love video games. I have a very wide variety of interests as well but I'm also interested in writing about things I'm not familiar with and studying them in depth. One of the reasons why I want to write for The Odyssey is because the content produced is new, fresh, and has a different take on journalism that has been leading the way writing and news are presented through social media. Platforms like this are the true mark of modern journalism as they allow room for innovative ideas, empower young writers to share their ideas and content, and allow writers to present news in an alternative manner through social media.
