50 Christian Songs That You Need To Add To Your Playlist Right Now

Ever since I went to my first mission trip I have been obsessed with listening to Christian/worship songs on a daily basis. Personally, they can make my day so much better and can fill my heart with so much love. However, it was only recently that I really started to listen to it more often. With college being so stressful I really treasure when I can take a moment out of my day, to listen to a couple songs on my playlist. With faith being so prominent in my life it is always such a great reminder that God is right there with me, even when it doesn't feel like it sometimes.

Below are some of my favorite songs that I have LOVED over the past four years!

An Open Letter To The People Who Call Me A 'Bible- Banger'

Recently, I decided to re-dedicate my life to Jesus. Upon doing this, I have received comments from people who don't know me, who I went to high school with (two years ago), and even my family, that I am a 'Bible Banger.' What even is this? Don't get me wrong, I haven't been a pure person my whole life, I too, have made mistakes and engaged in things that I wish I hadn't, but that doesn't mean that I am not worthy of re-dedicating my life to Jesus, getting re-baptized, and finding my home within my church. It seems to me that those who worship Jesus publicly are those who get knocked down by society.

I am a Christian.

I spent a majority of my life in private Christian schools and growing up, I never thought telling people that I am a Christian would ever become hard for me to do. I was always surrounded by likeminded people so it never occurred to me that there are people out there who do not agree with my religion. I was never an evangelical but I was proud of my faith and those close to me knew I had a good understanding of it. I loved my religion so much that I once wanted wanted to become a theology professor and teach at Yale.
