5 'Grey's Anatomy' Characters That SHOULD Still Be On The Show
Warning: this article contains spoilers.
I have been watching "Grey's Anatomy" for a long time. I just finished season 16, and I have been on a rollercoaster of emotions during these seasons.
I have fallen in love with characters and then the next thing I knew, they were either dying or moving away off the show.
These are just a few of the characters that should have stayed and basically made the show during their seasons.
1. Derek Shepherd
This character should have NEVER been killed off the show. This was the worst kill off of the entire show and always will be. Shepherd was my absolute favorite character, and he and Meredith were absolutely perfect together. She had finally gotten her life on track and she was happy.
Then, because of a surgeon who failed to get past his ego and didn't get a head CT, Derek died. I swear I cried for a week straight and didn't want to even watch Grey's Anatomy anymore. I am still upset about this to this day.
2. Christina Yang
ABC
OK, this was the character I related to the most. I loved Yang and was so upset when she left. She was a driven character that deserved so much more than what she got.
She did not deserve how Burke left her and how Hunt hurt her. She should have stayed at Grey-Sloan, stayed best friends with Meredith, and gotten groundbreaking surgeries just as her twisted sister Meredith has. Hunt should have left the show, not Yang.
3. Alex Karev
ABC
So, originally I really did not like this character at all and hoped that he would fail out of the program...BUT I ended up loving him. Evil spawn turned so good and was so great for all of his friends.
Karev was there for Meredith after Yang left, and he was finally happy with Jo.
Alex deserved so much better than Izzy. She was an annoying character that LEFT ALEX! Jo deserved so much more than him just up and leaving and going back to his dumb ex who left him with mounds of medical debt.
4. Lexie Grey
I know that this was a tragedy for many people, and Lexie should not have died, especially in the way she did. Lexie was such a good and pure soul and she died in such a sad and tragic way.
Lexie and Mark Sloan had been through so much, they should have had a chance to be happy. Neither of them should have died.
5. Arizona Robins
Again, this was such a pure and good person. This character was amazing and always brought so much life to the show. She was always so happy and bubbly. I know she left for her daughter and for a great job opportunity, but she should still be at Grey-Sloan with Alex keeping the pediatric floor bubbly and happy.
