The most important parts of E3 are the gaming announcements everyone has been waiting for all year. From PS4 to Xbox One, to Switch, to PC, to virtual reality, and more, the limits are endless. It's at this time where gaming companies show their masterpieces to outweigh the competition. That being said, here are my ten wishes I have for the event.

Most popular modern video games give you the option to create your own character from a variety of different options. Your character can be whatever race, gender or body type the player wants. This allows almost any player to shape the hero of the game in their own image and has allowed a wide variety of people the opportunity to see themselves as a hero in a world where other mediums under-represent them. However, this option does have some drawbacks.

Whether you're a new PS4 owner, thinking about getting one, or have been gaming on it for a while, there will always be another enticing game to add to your collection. From horror to Disney to action-adventure games, there is something out there for all kinds of gamers. Nearly everything here I have played or watched someone else play for hours on end, my free-time has gone faster than I could say "Would You Kindly" and my mind has reeled once I returned back to reality. To be honest, it doesn't even compare to the worlds that are built in these games. Maybe you want to try out "Bioshock" and appreciate the steampunk, ritzy underwater atmosphere filled with unsettling creatures and manipulation. Or perhaps you just want to kick back and play "Kingdom Hearts", smiling and giggling every time one of your favorite Disney characters pops up (c'mon, I can't be the only one who does that). Whatever the case is, read on to see what kind of compelling games PlayStation 4 has to offer.

Today, video games are huge. New games, new systems, online games, and amazing and realistic graphics — all of these contribute to the amazing games we see being played and streamed all over the internet. But every once in a while, every gamer needs to take a step back and play the classics — but what are the classics today?

Ten-to-twenty years ago is now "old," but there are games from those decades always worth playing again. Even though the graphics aren't as amazing as they are now, sometimes it's good to be nostalgic and pick up and "older" controller.

Let me say this first: I love E3! It is easily the biggest event of the year for me, and I tend to treat it as my World Cup or Super Bowl. It has an amazing showcase of games to show everyone from every major developer. Nintendo, Sony, and Microsoft are all here with their major announcements for the year, and other developers as well such as Capcom, EA, Ubisoft, and tons of indie developers. However, in the last few years there seem to have been some changes to the formula that is definitely affecting the showcase, and E3 has become more of a convention than an exposition.
