Night Drives With Friends Are The Absolute Best Thing
Driving at night with good friends and good music is a great way to de-stress.
Life can sometimes get to be a little too much. Everyone has moments where they feel stressed, anxious, agitated, the list goes on. It can be really hard to find small moments that allow you to breathe.
Let me introduce you to night driving. Some of you may be wondering how exactly something so tedious and at times frustrating can calm you down.
Trust me, they do the trick. Just allow me to paint the picture for you.
There is nothing quite like rolling down the windows on a nice night and feeling the cool wind against your face. Watching the bright lights zip by you and seeing their magical glow on the dark street.
Your favorite tunes blast through the speakers as you sing aloud and dance. Who cares what the people in the car next to you think, you'll never see them again. There is something so nice in being able to catch those moments in life that allow you to just be you.
When attending college it can be really hard to find times that allow you to decompress. Sometimes the prospect of homework, attendance grades, and exams can feel like a constant weight on one's shoulder.
The best and only way to survive and get through college is finding ways to live a little.
So maybe you're not into driving or you don't have a car. Maybe you like partying or watching movies or playing video games. Whatever it is that you like to do to de-stress, keep doing it.
For me, my favorite way will always be night drives. I'm forever thankful for the moments in life that allow me to live a little. Nothing beats grabbing a friend (or going alone), hopping into a car, putting on a killer playlist and just letting loose, even if it's only for a moment.
