Raise your hand if you’re a "Bachelor" fan. Go ahead, raise them high because I have both hands in the air.

I am a loyal and devoted "Bachelor" and "Bachelorette" fan. I watch every season and do not miss a single episode. I laugh at the crazy contestants, cringe at the awkward first encounters, roll my eyes at the “drama queens” and yell at the TV when people are sent home.

After watching the show for years, there are questions that linger in the back of my mind as I watch each episode. I can't be the only one who wonders how these girls manage to survive this show, right?

1. How much money do you spend on your clothes?

The amount of clothes girls bring on the show is insane. You have to prepare for every possible weather scenario because you never know where you’ll end up traveling to.

I can only imagine how much money girls drop on their wardrobe for the show.

2. Is it worth spending all that money and then being sent home the first night?

Let’s say you get sent home the first night after you’ve spent a fortune on clothes. Is it worth it, really? I guess you’ll at least have your clothes to comfort you…

3. Do you really think how much money you spend on clothes matters?

4. What do you do when you’re bored at the mansion?

The girls are always shown sitting around the mansion. They are never shown with any electronics. Of course, there’s the pool outside, but what do they do all day?

5. There’s always alcohol…do you just drink because you’re bored?

6. Do you ever eat? Because you never do on the dates.

Now, I know I’m not the only one who wonders this. Why do you never eat on the dates? Do you ever eat at all? Sometimes the food on the dates looks really good…just saying.

7. How do you handle being in a house with so many girls who are strangers?

8. Can you pick who you room with?

9. What do you do when other girls start fighting?

10. How do you handle the stress of the show?

Maybe this is where the alcohol comes in again...

11. Do people treat you differently after you’ve been on the show?

12. How can you cry your eyes out on TV?

13. Do you ever get any privacy?

14. How do you manage being homesick?

15. Are you on the show for the right reasons or is it all about being on TV?

There are always a few girls who just seem like they are on the show for a good time.

16. Do you ever regret the things you say on TV?

I know I cringe at the things some girls say during their interviews and on the dates.

17. Do you go back and watch the show when it airs?

18. Do you care what your friends and family will think when they see you on the show?

19. When you're sent home, are you forced to talk to the camera crew in the car afterward?

Does it frustrate anyone else that the girls are forced to talk to the camera as soon as they get dumped? I mean, they’re at their lowest.

20. How do you prepare yourself for the fantasy suite date knowing everyone will watch this once it airs?

Emphasis on EVERYONE here.

21. How do you accept the fact that you’re not the only girl he says “I love you” to?

22. For the girls who get a proposal, does watching the show once it airs cause tension in your relationship?

23. Does being on the show change how you view love?

Taylor Swift in orange dress playing a moss-covered piano on stage with bright lights.

A three-and-a-half-hour runtime. Nine Eras. Eleven outfit changes. Three surprise songs. Zero breaks. One unforgettable evening. In the past century, no other performer has put on an electric performance quite like Taylor Swift, surpassing her fans ‘wildest dreams’. It is the reason supporters keep coming back to her shows each year. Days later, I’m still in awe of the spectacle ‘Miss Americana’ puts on every few days in a new city. And, like one of Taylor’s exes, has me smiling as I reminisce about the memories of the night we spent together.

Today I started my third week of college at Minnesota State Moorhead. I have survived welcome week, finding my classes on the first day, and being an awkward loner in the dining hall. Even though I have yet to be here for a month, I have already experienced many thoughts and problems that only a new college student can relate to.

"Make sure to get involved when you're in college!"

We've all heard some variation of this phrase, whether it came from parents, other family members, friends, RAs, or college-related articles. And, like many clichés, it's true for the most part. Getting involved during your college years can help you make friends, build your resume, and feel connected to your campus. However, these commitments can get stressful if you're dealing with personal issues, need to work, or aren't sure how to balance classes and everything else going on during the semester.

In college, one of the essential things to have is friends. Yes, textbooks, a laptop, and other school supplies are important but friends are essential. Friends are that support system everybody needs. The more friends you have the better the support system you have. But you also have someone to share experiences with. And don’t settle for just one or two friends because 8 out of 10 times they are busy and you are studying all alone. Or they have other friend groups that do not include you. Don’t settle for just one or two friends; make as many friends as you can. After the first couple of weeks of college, most friend groups are set and you may be without friends.

For a moment your world is spinning. The phone alarm has just scared you awake and you’re flooded by daunting thoughts of the day ahead. You have three assignments due and little time to work on them because of your job. You’re running late because you’ve hit snooze one to many times after yesterday’s long hours. You dizzily reach for a hoodie, craving its comfort, and rush for a speedy exit, praying you will have time to pick up coffee. Does this sound familiar?
