The week before Thanksgiving Break you couldn't wait to go home.
After your last class (or after the last class that you decided not to skip) you could not get home fast enough
Hugging your parents felt great.
Your bed felt great.
You tasted real food. Has it always tasted this good??
You took a REAL shower.
You got to see your friends from High School.
You looked at your homework, and you even thought about doing it!
And even when you sat there dying of boredom, you still never did your homework.
Thanksgiving dinner came,
and went.
and by the time it hit the weekend school sounded better and better.
Then you ate your last meal at home and remembered what the dining hall was like...
then you took your last shower at home and remembered what the school showers were like...
You slept in your bed for the last night and remembered your dorm room...
The ride back to school consisted of very bittersweet feelings.
And here you are.
