The fall semester is officially over and the winter break has begun. Which is great!

What's not great is that my final semester of college is right around the corner. I graduate in May 2020 and I am terrified. I have spent the last four years learning so much about journalism and now is the time to use everything I learned. I hope I don't forget anything.

Along with it being my final semester, I have done something I have never done before: choose a three hour night class.

I have a few free electives to use and wanted to wait until my last semester to do it.

My Monday night class will be one of those electives and I actually look forward to having this class at that time.

A majority of people hate night classes and I understand why. Nights are usually supposed to be the time students relax away from classes. Well, not me for this class.

Honestly, I will probably go to bed as soon as I get back to my apartment after class on Mondays. And that is okay. Having a three-hour class early in the week will allow me to focus on other classes throughout the rest of the week.

I look forward to this class and my other ones as well. I tried to branch out a bit for my final semester and I am happy with my schedule.

Night classes might not be fun for most people but it may depend on the class and your mindset. Think about it this way: it's only once a week.

You get to concentrate on one subject for longer without having to think about other classes at the same time.

I have taken an 8 a.m. before and now I am ready to experience a night class.

Which is none other than beer; wonderful cold beer. With summer playing peek-a-boo around the corner while we finish up this semester, it's time to discuss the only important part of summer. And if you haven't already guessed, it's beer. There are few things I take more seriously than my beer, in order are: sports... and beer. Here are my favorite summer brews:

Bruce Springsteen's Top 7 Lyrics

Everything Bruce says in his classic rock songs.

bruce springsteen album cover born in the usa

Anyone who was born and raised in New Jersey (or anywhere really) knows of Bruce Springsteen, whether or not they like him is a whole other situation. I hope that his hundreds of classic rock songs and famous high energy performances, even in his sixties he can put on better concerts than people half his age, are at least recognizable to people of all ages. Love him or hate him (I identify with the former) you have to admit that some of his songs and interviews have inspirational quotes and lyrics.

New England Summers Are The BEST Summers

Why you should spend your next summer in New England.

4286
Marconi Beach

Three years ago, I chose to attend college in Philadelphia, approximately 360 miles away from my small town in New Hampshire. I have learned many valuable lessons away from home, and have thoroughly enjoyed my time spent in Pennsylvania. One thing that my experience has taught me, however, is that it is absolutely impossible to beat a New England summer.
