10 Must See Movies That Are Hitting The Theaters

From Marvel movies to horror films and some classics coming back for a second round, the next few months are going to be packed with many great films (we hope). With spring break and summer right around the corner, there will be plenty of opportunities for a movie date, a girls' night or a nice date with mom/dad. I recommend buying your tickets now or as soon as possible because some of these movies are going to fill up a theater quickly. Don't say I didn't warn you!

1. A Quiet Place II (March 20th)

I'm hoping you saw the first one and if you did you have many questions. I'm sure this movie will be filled with suspense, creepy creatures, and well, little noise.

2. Mulan (March 27th)

If you're like me, this was one of your favorite Disney movies growing up. I expected a lot from this movie, but sadly the story line is going to be a little different and they're not using the original music from the first movie. Will I still go see it, yes.

3. Peter Rabbit II: The Runaway (April 3rd)

Oddly enough, this was a new kid's movie I didn't mind in my 20's. If you're looking for a feel-good movie or just something to do on Easter with the family, your nearest movie theater has got you covered.

4. Antebellum (April 24th)

Be ready for drama and to crap your pants, enough said.

5. Black Widow (May 1st)

About time we see another Marvel movie on the schedule. It's obviously a must see, hello! It's a marvel movie, you know what you're in for.

6. Legally Blonde 3 (May 8th)

Was anybody else shocked to see this movie was in the makings? No, just me? OK. It shall be interesting to see Elle navigate through married life. Not much of the plot of the movie has been released yet, but I'm expecting courtrooms, little common sense, and a chihuahua.

7. Scoob! (May 15th)

We all watched Scooby Doo growing up, let's be honest. There are some big Hollywood stars being cast as voices of the film including Zac Efron as the voice of Fred. I'll be buying my ticket now.

8. Fast & Furious 9 (May 22nd)

OK, how many more of these can they make? You know what to expect; cars, someone fighting with someone else, weapons, some comedy and did I mention cars?

9. Wonder Woman (June 5th)

It's a DC comics film, idk. #TeamMarvel

10. Top Gun: Maverick (June 24th)

Calling all dad's to the theaters! I don't know about anyone else, but the first movie has been in my living room more times than I can count on both hands. Treat your dad to a nice dinner and a movie!

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
