Yay! April! it is a new month now so there are some new favorites I have collected in March.

Show Favorites

"The Handmaids Tale"

I know I have recommended this before, but last time it was the book version and this time is the TV series. I do recommend reading the book first then watching the show. I think you will get a much better idea of the background of the world when you read the book. I know some of you might think after I read the book I already know what’s gonna happen, so watch’s the point?

First, the book and the show used different artistic expressions. They are not at all the same. There are many new things and insights added that you can only notice with the acting, it added more layers to the story. The plots are also a little different. Not to mention there is also a second season.

"The X Files"

Since I recently got Hulu, I started watching it at the beginning of March and dudes and gals I have to say that they are popular for a reason. It is so very well made. It is also funny to see the clothing in the 80s. those big shoulder pads for women. I mean both of the main characters are very good looking. I love supernatural things and aliens and such. Fun times.

"Cutthroat Kitchen"

Okay, okay, I know I have too many free times on my hands, but this is a competitive reality show. Each episode is 20 minutes. It’s short and sweet and much fun to watch. The cooks sabotage each other while cooking and seeing the creative way of how they make things work is precious.

Beautify Favorites

Tatcha Rice Enzyme Powder

This powder is for face washing. It is very gentle on skin, cleanses well and it does not dry the skin out. I really like it. I only know it because I got a box of mini-sized products from Sephora last year. The price of this brand it not cheap. I also use the oil blotting paper from this brand and I love it a lot.

L’ Occitaine Rose Body wash, Body milk and perfume trio

It smells so good. I love it so much. After I shower and put on the body milk the whole room will smell like rose. And when I take my clothes of before I go to bed, my clothes smell like roses too. The perfume smell like real rose and it is so fresh and airy. It is not a dense smell. It feels like you are inside a rose garden with nice breeze.
