Who would've guessed Cosmo would be the relatable one?

Growing up, many of us have watched the show "The Fairly Odd Parents." It wasn't until I came home from college one break that I realized how much Cosmo's stupid side comments pertained to life as a college student. So, here's a few times Cosmo had the best statement during a school year:

1. When you're trying to study, but your friends would much rather you go out instead.

2. When the teacher tries to call on you, but you pretend to be doing something in your textbook.

3. Every last cent counts as a broke college kid.

4. When you find out your professor cancels class.

5. Introducing people to your best friend like...

6. Talking to your professor during office hours.

7. Trying to cook on your own for the first time with no idea what you're doing.

8. Talking to your adults about how your school.

9. When you do laundry for the first time on your own.

10. And when you finally leave your last Friday class and the weekend has begun.

Three years ago, I chose to attend college in Philadelphia, approximately 360 miles away from my small town in New Hampshire. I have learned many valuable lessons away from home, and have thoroughly enjoyed my time spent in Pennsylvania. One thing that my experience has taught me, however, is that it is absolutely impossible to beat a New England summer.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday.
