Many people believe in miracles and if there is one thing that creates miracles in real life, higher education is a sure thing. If one thinks about it college and university is maybe the single most beneficial asset that someone can have in life. Going to college is important in many aspects.

The first is that one can find a better high paying job easier if you have a bachelors degree in one's field of study. The second is the many social opportunities that one has in colleges such as meeting someone in class or joining and fraternity or sorority or joining a club or sports club team on campus.

There are many ways to get involved at University. University creates a sense of self-importance and good self-esteem in a way that many other aspects of life cannot. School is not just known as school, it is known as one's passion, community, and purpose for at least four years of one's life. This is why it is so important to our people and our society.

Having a job or owning a business is what keeps us alive and moving forward as a society. The way one finds a new job and gets started in the world is usually through higher education. Whether if it's through a community college or a four-year college or university, higher education with an associates/bachelors degree is the best way to accomplish this goal. College gives one the best training and experience they need through testing and project work than anything else could.

College is a big deal for getting hired for internships and jobs and is a great way to connect with many different businesses and companies across the country and the world. Having research experience whether if it's on campus or studying abroad, there is nothing that can match it in terms of hand on experience. All these encompassing reasons are why college and higher education is so important for finding a job.

The emotional connection one creates with there school is another major reason why college is so important. College gives one a sense of purpose and meaning and there is no better way to do this than joining a club organization or fraternity/sorority that fits one's needs. Having options is another great thing about college.

One can decide what to get involved with and really hone in a passion that you otherwise couldn't of. Finding your way in college is much easier than trying to navigate the real competitive world and job market we are dealing with today. Between working with clubs during the school week and having fraternity or sorority events in the evenings and on the weekends, there are plenty of ways to get involved and stay busy on campus.

Many people meet there best friends and the love or their lives at college. There is no other way around it, college creates some of the biggest emotional connections ones can have in their lives.

The overall impact university has on the surrounding community and our society is unmatched. The economy tends to thrive in big college towns such as State College, PA where Pennsylvania State University is or Blacksburg where Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University is located. These college towns have huge investment increases because of the resources that the school uses in the area as well as the students who, eat, shop and work in the area.

All of the services and stores make much more when a class is in session throughout the year than during the summer months. The entire economy does better under the university than without it, much better in fact. College and University bring more people in for companies to hire. This means that different industries tend to do much better in these areas such as the technology fields like cybersecurity, computer science, geographic information systems, etc.

Colleges make the students more connected with the community with different service events and 5k and 10k race events that raise money for important causes. The social and political change that takes place in a college town moves more rapidly because of the youth and college-age students that live there. Universities and Colleges do wonders for the communities and areas that surround them.

This is why higher education including college and university is so important. It gives people hope for the future and I can't think of what would be more important than that. It creates skills and knowledge that one cannot learn anywhere else. You find the relationships of a lifetime and create memories that you will never forget.

One can find there passion that lasts a lifetime or even a love that lasts a lifetime. College creates opportunities not only for the first generation that goes but to all the generations that come after the first. College opens doors to be successful in all aspects of life. There are no other possible ways to being more of a success in life than to go to college or some other forms of higher education other than maybe being hired for a high paying job or coming from a good family background.

College truly can be a miracle for the many who strive to succeed in this country and around the world and it will continue to be so for years to come.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
