As I begin to write this, three freshman boys are sitting in front of me and talking about the Biebs and his new music.
"His new music is actually good, he's got some good songs...but I don't like his old music." (let's just clarify)
"Yeah he's got a song with Travis Scott, that's dope."
To say my inner fangirl has been on a rollercoaster that only goes up (shoutout John Green) would be an understatement at best. It seems that everywhere I turn there's a newly converted hater who's come to the epiphany JUST NOW that JB is actually talented!
*What do you mean??*
Like Justin has always wanted, it's finally about the music. People aren't letting their biases about his personality blind them from how great his newest album, Purpose, is.
Us Beliebers waited 3 long years for a new official album and now it is here; and it's being celebrated not only in the Belieber community, but across the world,
If you need more proof that practically everyone with a decent taste in music is now a Belieber, just look to the record Justin just broke that was held by the Beatles for 51 years! He managed to have 17 songs in the same Billboard 100 week, only rivaled by the Beatles and Drake's previous record at 14 songs each.
@drake @thebeatles what's good??
Guys and girls everywhere are going crazy for the all grown up JB. Where were all of you when Justin needed you back in 2014?! *cue Skrillex/Diplo drop*
Either way you're here now. And honestly you've come to the group at a great time:
He's 21, he's "cool" now.
His teenage antics are long gone.
He's going on tour again.
He's hotter than ever!!
His voice is the best it's ever been!
And of course his music quality has hit an all time high!
However, too much of a good thing can be bad for us Beliebers:
He's super popular, which means there's more people fighting for his attention.
Tickets sold out, FAST.
Tickets are ridiculously expensive. ($2,000 for a meet and greet)
Nevertheless, I'm extremely excited about the amount of support that Justin has been receiving. There have been some rocky years in Justin's past, but his comeback has shown that he's still a genuinely kind person.
If you're not a Belieber by the end of 2015, this time you'll be in the minority. So get on that.
Shoutout to the people who've been here since 09'! Now you can say "I told you so!"
