We all know that Starbucks is one of the most popular corporate chains in America. Everyone and their cousin has a favorite go-to caffeinated beverage. However, while Starbucks is definitely known for their drinks, their food is also pretty legendary. Here is my definitive list of all the best treats at Starbucks, so you can have your (coffee) cake and eat it, too. (By the way, I'm not sponsored by Starbucks, but if they offered, I would happily oblige)

10. The Bacon, Gouda & Egg Sandwich

The best sandwich Starbucks has to offer by far. The bacon is always crispy, the egg is always fluffy and the gouda finishes it off perfectly. Also, the bread used is so delicious and thick and everything bread should be. This sandwich is a 10/10.

9. Double-Smoked Bacon Cheddar & Egg Sandwich

Another amazing Starbucks sandwich of a similar merit. However, the crust for this sandwich is a CROISSANT. That’s right. In addition to delicious bacon, cheese, and egg, there is also the perfect hug from a crispy sweet croissant.

8. Dark Chocolate and Caramelized Banana Oatmeal

All of the Starbucks oatmeals are delicious and not even close to bland old people oatmeal. These little warm bowls of sweet oats come with all the toppings so you can choose what to add and what to leave out. The Dark Chocolate Caramelized Banana oatmeal is so delicious, however, that you definitely won’t even consider getting rid of any part of it.

7. Bagel

All of Starbucks’ bagels are fan-freakin-tastic. You simply cannot go wrong when deciding between plain or everything or multigrain. Also, finish it off with some of the cream cheese and you’re good to go.

6. Butter Croissant/ Chocolate Croissant

Just like with the bagels, Starbucks’ croissants are phenomenal. Warmed up or not, these flaky, buttery, delicious masterpieces are a taste explosion in your mouth. I honestly have traveled to Starbucks on multiple occasions just to eat a croissant.

5. Cake Pops

What is an article about the food of Starbucks without a reference to their cake pops? Of course, they are delicious no matter the flavor. However, they definitely could be bigger. Or they could just be full cakes. Maybe that’s to come? I sure hope so.

4. Michigan Cherry Oat Bar

After trying this I was shocked there wasn’t some angelic old lady baking in the back. This bar tastes like something your grandma would make. It’s got fruit so you can pretend it’s good for you, plus, it’s got oats and a delicious brown sugar crust. So healthy...but not.

3. Iced Lemon Pound Cake

Hands-down one of my favorite treats- this loaf of soft, tangy bread is a necessity. I can’t remember my life without it and I honestly don’t want to. If you have yet to try one of these, do yourself a favor and order one ASAP. The light bread mixed with a heavier icing finish combine for a taste explosion.

2. Marshmallow Dream Bar

For all my gluten-free homies out there and really just any fan of a Rice Krispie treat. Somehow, Starbucks does it better. The marshmallow is so marshmallow-y and the treat is thicker and sweeter than the typical Rice Krispie. And as opposed to Rice Krispies, they are actually gluten free!

1. Apple Fritter

Arguabley the greatest Starbucks treat and maybe just best baked good ever. You wouldn’t expect it, but once this baby is heated up, it becomes the most magically delicious warm apple delight. Also, it’s about the size of your head, so the yumminess goes on and on.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
