Happy fall! It seems like autumn is a fan favorite when it comes to the season. To me, fashion is the best part of this time of year. The colors all go so well together and it’s so cozy and cute. But why not bring the best part of fashion and put it in your room?

Creating a cozy and cute space for the fall is the perfect way to get out of your summer state of mind. Sure, you can put up Halloween decorations, but Hallo-weekend is not that long and who wants Frankenstein on display for a month or more? Instead, decorate with some cute, classy, fall inspired décor that you could keep up well past Thanksgiving.

Here are some YouTuber approved ways to spice up your dorm or house this fall.

1. Pumpkins

Here is a twist on a classic fall decoration. Instead of carving or painting your pumpkin this year. Decorate with a simple ribbon or two. It makes decorating stress-free and mess free.

2. Pumpkin Garland

Keeping with the pumpkin theme, this pumpkin garland is easy and fun to make. All you need is yarn, craft wire and some twine and you are good to go! Click on the picture to watch how to make this.

3. Hanging Leaves

If you have empty wall space, this is a super cute and simple way of decorating it. You can hang the leaves any way you want and it makes for the perfect fall decoration.

4. Flower Display

This flower display is as easy as it gets. You can get all of the items from your local dollar store. All you need are jars and fake flowers (fall colors of course).

5. Fall Filled Jars

What's super fun about these jars is that you can fill them with anything you want. Obviously I would choose candy, but you can put anything in them, even a candle! Decorate the jars how you would like and just like that, you now have Tumblr-worthy fall decor.

6. Owl Pillow

If you are feeling super creative, you can make this cute owl pillow. Take a pillow and either felt or use any material you would like, cut out the shapes you want (you don't have to make an owl), and hot glue them them to the pillow. It's a fun craft to make and doesn't take long at all!

7. Extra Decorations

Of course, crafts aren't for everyone. If you want to decorate for the fall with out having to pull out your paint and hot glue gun, you can always buy a fall scented candle, change the wallpaper on your phone or computer, or buy a comfy blanket.

As college students, we are all familiar with the horror show that is course registration week. Whether you are an incoming freshman or selecting classes for your last semester, I am certain that you can relate to how traumatic this can be.

1. When course schedules are released and you have a conflict between two required classes.

Bonus points if it is more than two.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

As an English Major in college, I have a lot of writing and especially creative writing pieces that I work on throughout the semester and sometimes, I'll find it hard to get the motivation to type a few pages and the thought process that goes behind it. These are eleven thoughts that I have as a writer while writing my stories.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
