Now I'm all about being outside, being adventurous, cleaning, being with family and friends, BUT there are rainy days and there are days you just want to yourself. I have 5 "must-watch" shows this summer for those days where you just want to avoid people and the weather is keeping you inside!

Disclaimer: you must watch all 5 and you must start from the beginning, skipping nothing, until the very end. If you don't, you will not get the full effect and I take no part of your experience.

1. The Office- Now I was a true "Office Hater", I never watched it, I never got the hype of it, I had zero interest. Then my brother and best friend continuously watched it in front of me and basically begged me to give it a try. Naturally, I accepted the challenge. First two seasons, not my favorite. I was highly considering stopping and saying "yeah I was right", but I stuck through. I just finished the 9 seasons bawling my eyes out, wanting to join the group hug, having flashbacks of memories with the gang, and getting answers to all my questions. I need to know, where are they now?? Overall: I'm hooked. You have to try this show.

2. Gossip Girl- Okay okay, before you freak out and say I'm dumb, you have to watch this show. Like me, my life is either uneventful or so out of whack I want nothing to do with it. This show is full of drama, juicy romance, real-life experiences, and of course cute guys, and attractive girls if that's your thing you do you. It's so fun to get so involved in the relationships, the hot gossip, and the clues that guide the show the entire 6 seasons! Do it, join in. xoxo. (also shows related to GG and so worth the watch: One Tree Hill, Pretty Little Liars, 90210, Riverdale!!)

3. Criminal Minds- Feeling adventurous? Are you into crime and investigating? This show is incredible! it's not like all the other crime shows, this show tunes in on very real situations that can and do happen every day. While also giving you background on FBI behaviorists, showing their personal lives and how the job affects them. The team feels like family and you stayed glued to the screen as each episode is packed with thrills, action, and emotional string pulling! A must watch if you enjoy criminal justice and all related topics.

4. Rise- This show is one that drags you into the lives of these teenagers, teachers, coaches, and their school. Taking us back to the good ole high school days. Football Fridays, Musical practice, friend group drama, high school parties, family drama, and so much more! The show focuses on the musical theater students and their families, however, the music is absolutely breathtaking and I download it to my playlist after every song. If you're looking to get out of your now "adult life", this show will take you back and keep you hooked!

5. Grey's Anatomy- This is a classic, you have to watch it. Yes, it is about doctors, nurses, residents, all their journeys and stories in-between, but it's not always so bloody and gruesome. The relationships made, lost, and developed are inspiring. Starting in season 1 you meet and follow so many paths, dreams, and love. Then Shonda (the writer) takes you through whirlwinds, ups, downs, crashes, trama, tears, and then you're on season 14 and you miss the ones you've lost along the way, the relationships that you idolized, and the fact that this may be coming to a complete end soon. This show is 120% worth your time!

So enjoy summer outside, making memories, and living life. But on days where its rainy and you need time to yourself you have to try these shows out. They will take you through a crazy ride, one you won't regret and never will forget. Am I wanting to be a part of every show? You already know I wrote myself in. Happy Binging Friends!

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
