The day you ran to my arms and said "you lied to me!" was the best day of my life. Every moment since then I continuously am so proud of you and am so glad you're a part of my life. I think the best things in life go through every up and down and we have successfully done that. So in honor of Loyalty Week and my last semester, this one's for you Little Bug.

Reasons Why I Love My Little Diamond:

1. "It's fine." I never thought I would find someone else who says this as much as I do. Well, I have. But for you, this is a phrase that keeps you strong. When life hits you hard, you say "its fine", but I know that it's just the strength in you trying to get over the bump in your path. You're a warrior. I love this about you.

2. You know exactly what I am trying to say before I even say it. Like the most recent time when I had the most embarrassing story for you and I couldn't even get the words out. You knew exactly what I was going to say. You listen even when I ramble and have nothing important to say. I love this about you.

3. Your humor. You can walk into a room and make everyone laugh. Whether it be because someone said something that you didn't hear or because your laugh is so contagious! Either way it is always refreshing to hear you laugh and make everyone else laugh too. I love this about you.

4. Despite our busy lives, we always are sure to catch up on every detail and it's like we left off right where we were before. We know that we both have our crazy stressful stuff, but it's so good to know that no matter how long we've gone without talking, we care enough to catch right back up. I love this about you.

5. You're vulnerable, with the biggest heart. You just want people to be happy. When your friend is sad and having a rough day, your heart hurts and you try to talk with them and make it better. You are honest and tell people what you are truly feeling, and people appreciate this about you and I love this about you.

Even though I may be your big, I look up to you for your strength, your energy, and your ability to stay up past 1 am. I love you so so much and I cannot wait to see what your future holds. Remember Little Bug, I'll be there for you like you're there for me too.

L&L,

Big Bug <>

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
