Hello!

Today we're going to talk about the great Bob Ross. Why are we talking about Bob Ross? Because everyone should talk about Bob Ross. His calm voice and happy disposition should be something that everyone should appreciate. With a single stroke of that voice he had a tendency to just drop some emotional and intellectual bombs on his viewers, blowing the paintbrushes right out of their hands. Here's a short list of his masterpieces.

1. There was the time when he beautifully informed us of the freedom of the skies.

2. There was the time that he said what we all needed hear.

3. There was that one time that when he gave us the warning that we all desperately needed.

4. He once gave us the perfect recipe for a good day.

5. There was the one time when he simply added some water to the glass half empty.

When in doubt, make it a bird.

6. There was the time when he assured us that we're always right.

7. There was that one time when his son came in for the episode and dropped some serious knowledge on how to make your foliage flourish.

8. There was that one time when he reminded us all that we're not alone in our loneliness.

9. There was that one time when he pointed out that we are surrounded by something that can make us happy: nature.

11. There was that one time that he gave us both financial and emotional advice.

12. There was the time when he let us in on his biggest secret: practice.

13. And then he revealed yet another secret to success.

What an open book that man was.

14. Like father like son.

15. There was the time when he gave us a nice geology lesson.

16. There was the time when he told us again that practice is the key to everything.

And that basically, if you're not talented, it's kind of your fault.

17. There was that one time he made it known that we can find friends anywhere.

18. There was the time when he reminded us that we are all rulers.

And finally, from dear Bob and I:

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
