I consider myself a catalyst. Despite how contrary that is to my opinion on change, I believe change unveils itself in both good and bad ways. The reason I chose to write for The Odyssey is equivalent to that prior analogy. I want to be able to voice myself on topics that could use a different cultural spin and "maturish" take on issues that matter to everyday people. Having been born from Zimbabwe and finding myself living in America more than half my life, contributing to the broader conversation on current "life stuff" people think about on a daily basis is something I find I would enjoy doing. Additionally, I think my die heart love for the arts as well will enable me to speak even more on areas I feel need attention!
