Ryann Jessica McEnany

My name is Ryann McEnany and I am a Telecommunications major with a concentration in Education. I am in my third year at UF both as a student and on the Gator Track & Field team. I run the 60m hurdles for the indoor season and the 100m hurdles during outdoor season. My goal after college is to work in the sports environment, specifically as a sports journalist. As a deep thinker and one with an open mind, I have always treasured the freedom that writing offers. I find myself thinking through situations, issues, and topics a bit longer than needed and discovering breakthroughs and unique ideas as a result. Holding a position as an Odyssey writer would not only be the perfect building block for my future goal, but it would most importantly allow me to share and connect my experiences as a student-athlete to my fellow colleagues.
