Madeleine Inglish

I am passionate about writing. I come from a Classical Christian High School in small town Boerne, Texas. Classical schools teach students to analyze the world around them; ideally, a graduate of this type of school is taught to pursue excellence in all that they do while also striving to learn more about The Lord and His divinity on this earth. All of that to say, this education has shaped my mind. I am a critical thinker and therefore enjoy various topics of issue whether it be political, socioeconomic or religious. Throughout my time at this school I served as editor-in-chief of the journalism program. Here I was able to learn the art of writing creatively. It is the combination of scholastic and journalistic writing that I believe distinguishes me. I want to continue to pursue my love for writing throughout my years at Texas A&M and believe The Odyssey is a great way to achieve this. I hope to bring an essence of conversational writing paired with the ability to write about pressing topics when necessary to this publication.
