Relationships Are Ruff, 'Dig' Is The New Dating App For Dog Lovers
To all my single friends and my fellow dog lovers, this one's for you.
I recently came across an advertisement for "Dig — The Dog Person's Dating App" and I was ecstatic. Reminiscing on the Tinder days and all these other dating platforms, I wondered why this was never a thing.
When I pass by different kinds of dogs on the street, it instantly puts a smile on my face. Dog people are always happy to run into a dog and are more than happy to welcome new dogs into their lives. Maybe you find yourself lingering around the dog park or jump at the chance to dog-sit for a friend while they're away. You're also lying if you've never stopped swiping on a dating app just to get a good look at the potential matches with dogs at their sides.
If you don't like dogs, then I can't relate. I have a couple of my own and if you're not a fan then that's an instant deal-breaker for me. No amount of attraction or charm could get me to think otherwise.
If you don't get along with my dog, it's never going to work.
I downloaded the Dig app and I was impressed. Not only does it have preferences that you can adjust for the right human match, but also for the dog. Because dogs can also be particular with who their dog friends are, this feature is practical. There's also suggested dog-friendly date locations available in the app which is so convenient. You can match with potential beaus and head to the date location that's already picked out for you.
I can't imagine a better way to connect with like-minded people. Dig cuts right to the chase and connects dog people based on what's important to them — their dogs.
