How To Make The Most Of Your Last Few Days At 'Cuse

Here are a few things to do with you last fleeting days at SU:
1. Take a lap around campus
You may not realize it on your daily walks through campus from class to class, but Syracuse is a gorgeous school and sometimes we overlook that when we see its beauty every day. Take the chance to walk around one last time, breathe in the fresh air, and take in all the beauty Syracuse has to offer, from its gorgeous buildings to the greenery all around campus!
2. Go to Schine one last time
Sadly, renovations in Schine will be happening next year and our beloved Schine will never be the same. I think we are all worried about one main thing, WHAT IS GOING TO HAPPEN TO SCHINE QUESADILLAS? If you, like most students, have an unhealthy addiction to the quesadillas in the food court, make sure to stop by one last time to get some gooey, cheesy, goodness.
3. Lay out on the Quad
It is a rarity for there to be nice weather Upstate New York, we've all come accustomed to the doom and gloom of the grey, cloudy weather. Luckily, since Spring is here and Summer is quickly approaching, the sun shines bright on our lovely campus so make sure to soak up the sun in this beautiful-won't-happen-again-for-a-long-time weather!
4. Take a trip to Destiny
During finals week, there are some people who don't have finals until the last day possible and there are others that have all their finals in the first few days. Whatever your final situation may be, it is super important to de-stress and to take a step back and breathe. A great way to de-stress between finals or after is to take a trip to Destiny! Shop your cares away, play a few games at Dave and Buster's, and enjoy a good meal before heading back to Bird to study some more!
5. Go to DJs, Harry's, or Lucy's
Whatever your favorite bar is, it's important to share a drink with your friends and say goodbye to a place you spent countless hours this year. It's the right thing to do, to give respect to a place you hold so dear to your heart, and you know you're going to regret not stopping before heading home for the summer where you're going to be dreaming of those famous Redbull-vodkas…...Ah, we're already counting down the days until August
6. Make a Dome Stomp!
It may seem childish, but we all remember the wonder and curiosity we felt when our tour guides told us to go in between the thin columns that line the dome and jump! Make sure to do this one last time before going home for the summer, even if it's just to see the esteemed Carrier Dome one last time. Bring yourself back to some of that pre-college excitement to feel young and energized again for your last few days here!
7. Catch one last glimpse of Otto
Make sure you see Otto before going home, catch him riding around on his scooter or sitting on the quad with some people and wave goodbye for the Summer! We're all gonna miss that orange guy!
8. Have One Last Buffet With Your Besties
Going home means saying goodbye to your closest friends here, and even worse; paying for food at home! The dining hall food might not be 5 star quality but you can eat as much as you like, so for the last time before going home, eat your heart out in the dining hall and laugh with your friends about all the amazing times you had this year and all the even MORE amazing times you will have next year.
