5 Must-See Cities For Your Spring Break on the East Coast
When Florida or the Caribbean Just Doesn't Cut It
When you think of Spring Break, you often think of warm, sunny locations down south. In fact, when first starting to plan my vacation, I instantly thought of Florida beaches and Caribbean cruises. However, when challenged to think outside the book, my planning diverted from the south to the east coast, focusing on these five cities that are a bucket list must!
Washington D.C.
Of course, any citizen of the United States of America should make at least one trip to our nation's capital. This city is packed full of history and current politics, making it a hot spot for history buffs. It's quite impossible to see everything in one week, but be sure not to miss the White House, Capitol Hill, the memorials and monuments, and the Smithsonian museums!
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
This fun city tends to be favorite by many! The Historical District is a must-see, as well as Rocky Steps. Enjoy a beloved Philly Cheesesteak while checking out the Liberty Bell in this city.
New York City, New York
I once was told that you haven't lived until you visit NYC. While I still fall into the category of 'not living', I hear the top sights in this city are the Statue of Liberty and Central Park. Times Square is a hit, especially near New Year's Eve. This city is hopping with great tourist sights and fun downtown!
