Life Doesn't End at 25
You're still young at 25 and you still have so much to look forward to.
This is a response to the article, "9 things you SHOULD do when you are 25."
As someone who's also 25 years old, I have to agree with the author that you can do a lot of fun things at 25. Life doesn't end at 25 and I've noticed some people, especially people on social media, who act like they're running out of time. No, it's not the end. It's just the beginning.
At 25, you know yourself better and you are more intelligent than you were at 18 or 21. And (hopefully), you have more money. At 25, you can change the course of your life to your heart's desire. You can go back to school, start your own business, start your own YouTube Channel, join a dance class, and more. The sky is the limit on what you can do at 25 and beyond.
I'm 25 years old going on to 26 this July 2023. Even though to many people that I look like I have my life together, I don't. I'm still growing and developing into the person that I want to be. I'm still working on myself. Even though I still don't have everything figure out yet, I'm still having fun in life. I still hang out with my friends, making new connections, trying out new hobbies that I haven't done before, exercise, watch cartoons, play video games, audition for a reality show, and more. I still prioritize my mental health though since nothing is worth my mental health. That comes first before anything else. As a 25 year old, I'm living my life to the fullest, even with all the bad stuff going on the world. I wanted to focus more on the good than the bad. And I wanted to turn the bad into good. I don't want to stress out. I want to overcome any obstacles thrown at me. Turn the negatives into positives. I know that I and anyone else were not put on this world to suffer and stress out about the bad things in life. We were put on this world to experience the beauty and nature that life has to offer.
My advice for anyone who is turning 25 this year, please still take advantage on what life has to offer. I know there are still bad things going on in the world but we still have the power to do good and make the most of what the good the world has to offer. The good will outweigh the bad. Trust the process on where you are in life and focus on the good that exists around you. I said this many times but life is too short. Don't waste any day and don't let any opportunities passed you by. If you want something, you go for it. If not now, then when? Life is precious.
25 is a beautiful number. You're a quarter century years old and are aware of the world around you. What do you want to do for the next 25 years? As someone who likes to plan ahead, I already know the things I want to do within the next 25. Just wait and see what I'll do. As for you (the reader), you have time to think and plan out what you want to do next. There's no rush since we are all on our own timelines.
Moral of the story, life does not end at 25 and it won't be. Get out and take on what 25 and beyond has to offer you.
