For me, podcasts are my go-to whenever I'm taking a long car ride. With all the laughing, suspense, or fear that comes with listening to them, podcasts always make long drives seem short. I am a sucker for scary stories, especially if they're supposedly true. "Spooked" includes true accounts of the paranormal from a variety of fans. With hardly any background noise and such suspense, you're sure to stay focused and on the edge of your seat throughout your entire car ride. If you want to make it even spookier, wait to listen to this podcast until it gets dark!

If you're a true crime junkie like me, this is definitely the podcast for you! "My Favorite Murder" includes stories of the hosts' favorite crime-related tales and also features small-town crime stories from friends and fans. YouTube stars Jenna Mourey and Julien Solomita created one of the funniest podcasts I've ever listened to. If you've ever watched the couple on YouTube, you know just how crazy and hilarious it can get, and this podcast goes even deeper. This podcast is definitely a must-listen for anyone who just needs a laugh.

4. “WHOA That’s Good” with Sadie Robertson

Star of Duck Dynasty, Sadie Robertson's podcast will give you all the feels. She brings in guests from all walks of life in order to have meaningful conversations and spark motivation in listeners. New England Summers Are The BEST Summers

Three years ago, I chose to attend college in Philadelphia, approximately 360 miles away from my small town in New Hampshire. I have learned many valuable lessons away from home, and have thoroughly enjoyed my time spent in Pennsylvania. One thing that my experience has taught me, however, is that it is absolutely impossible to beat a New England summer.

You cannot beat the beach. Believe it or not (which many people may not), New England has a long and beautiful coastline. Most of my high school summers were spent sitting on the Wall at Hampton Beach, getting sunburnt and eating Acai bowls from The Secret Spot. The Wall was the place to be both during the day and at night. We begin our days there with a KB's bagel and coffee, and end them with pizza and ice cream. It’s not a New England summer without that 4 p.m. text from someone, “Who wants to meet at the Wall tonight?” Nighttime is for Tripoli’s Pizza, the sound of waves, and wishes on shooting stars. Wednesday nights are especially important, as those are the nights that Hampton Beach sets off the weekly firework display.
