A great gift during the holidays, especially if you're on a budget, is baked goods. Here is a list of easy sweets you can make!

1. Hugs.

A simple stack of a pretzel, a Hershey's kiss, topped with an M&M. These are the perfect blend of sweet and salty. Throw a handful of them in a holiday bag, add a ribbon and a to/from note and you're all set.

2. Fudge.

This is a great dessert that you could give out any time of the year. There are so many different flavors of fudge you can make that it would be the perfect gift year-round. This candy cane fudge would be great for this holiday season!

3. Candied almonds.

I find that adults love getting candied almonds. They are so simple to make and it's such a great dessert for someone who doesn't really eat dessert. These vanilla cinnamon candied almonds are great!

4. Cookies.

You can never go wrong with giving out cookies. Like fudge, there are so many different types of cookies you can make. For the holidays you could make something classic like gingerbread cookies or something unique like these maple cinnamon star cookies.

5. Christmas crack.

I remember a family making this and giving it to mine when I was younger. This is such a simple recipe that anyone can make. Another great mixture of salty and sweet!
