6 Reasons We All Need To See "Finding Dory"

It's been 13 years since "Finding Nemo" swam into theaters stole our hearts and, finally, "Finding Dory" has arrived on the silver screen. Due to the long wait between the two movies, anticipation was high for the new Pixar film. When "Finding Nemo" came out, I was 7-years-old; I am now 20, and I love Nemo, Marlin and Dory more than ever. The fact is, I grew up on Disney movies, and seeing a fish with an injured fin have all these adventures was amazing to watch as a child. When I went to see "Finding Dory" with my friends on opening night, there were as many of us as there were young children. Disney and Pixar have an amazing talent for making their films enjoyable for every age -- young, old and the forever young at heart.

1. Baby Dory.

Once you are introduced to this adorable little Dory there's no turning back.

2. New friends.

We get to meet Dory's Pipe Pal Destiny. Although she is a terrible swimmer, having very poor eye sight, Destiny is still a wonderful friend to Dory.

We also meet Bailey the Beluga. Being Destiny's neighbor, swim coach and eyes, the semi-neurotic Bailey has problems of his own believing that his Echo Location is broken.

And then there's Hank, the grouchy octopus. All Hank wants to do is go to Cleveland, but once he meets Dory, she changes his life.

3. Old friends.

What good is a "Finding Nemo" sequel without Nemo and Marlin? These friends are taken on another adventure together.

4. Dory's parents.

The whole movie is based on Dory trying to find her parents, the flashback scenes with baby dory and her parents Charlie and Jenny are just so adorable, and give a look into the love of a parent.

5. Just swimming.

That all important motto from "Finding Nemo" is back and makes you think, What would Dory do? It's that positive thinking that helped Dory through a lot of problems.

6. Finding family.

Family isn't just what you're born into; it's also the best friends that you meet. Marlin and Nemo would swim to the ends of the earth for Dory. That's family.

Just remember: "Keep swimming and you can alway find your way back home."

10 Things Only Equestrians Understand

Yes, it IS a sport. Yes, I fall all the time. No, I do not ride in jeans with a cowgirl hat on.

Growing up I have always wanted to own a horse. My grandparents own a well known equestrian facility in Georgia, so I have been riding since I was born. A bond between a person and their horse is a bond so strong that it cannot be broken. Everywhere I went I wanted to be around horses, even forcing my family to go on trail rides during vacations. Horses have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember has taught me great responsibility, as well as 14 things that all equestrians can relate to.

College is super hard. Between working, studying, and having a social life, it feels like a struggle to just keep afloat.

I understand. When you feel like your drowning and there's no way to stay afloat I understand that it feels like everyone else is doing just fine. I understand all the frustration, long nights in the library, and that feeling that you want to just throw in the towel. I understand that sometimes it's too hard to get out of bed because your brain is already filled with too much information to remember. I understand because I am also feeling pretty burnt out.

No Matter How Challenging School Gets, You Have To Put Your Health First — A Degree Won't Mean Anything If You're Dead

Some of the best advice I've ever received was from my social studies teacher in sophomore year of high school. He stated, "If you don't know it at midnight, you're not going to know it for the 8 a.m. exam, so get some sleep."

It's such a simple piece of advice, but it holds so much accuracy and it's something that the majority of college students need to hear and listen to. "All-nighters" are a commonality on college campuses in order to cram in studying for an exam that is typically the next day.

Sometimes my brain just starts turning on an idea and it doesn't want to stop.
