Hello, My name is Shayen-Joe Sakr, and my I am from Los Angeles. I have always been passionate about having a voice, one that reflects my community, and being a part of something greater. I believe that change begins with awareness which is why it is crucial for people to stay informed. Writing is wonderful way to get a message across to an audience because it is often clear, and concise. It is still important, however, to use pictures because they help people get new perspectives through analyzation. Pictures also help one visualize the situation. I am an avid photographer with hopes of showing others the world through new eyes. The odyssey is a perfect way of keeping people informed since everything is primarily online now.
