Reading and writing have always been key parts of my growth as a person but in the past two years I've really fallen behind on these passions. I joined the SNHU Odyssey team to rekindle that spark. I do think having a deadline every week is a great way to help me tap into unexpected places of creativity. Even though I have fallen in love with Marketing I still do have the goal of being an author someday, I'm just not sure what to focus on anymore. While fiction and poetry used to be all I was interested in, I've really expanded my interest into non-fiction. I'm hoping by continuing to pursue success at SNHU Odyssey, I can narrow my focus and one day accomplish my goal of being an author, no matter what form that may take.

I also want my son to know the importance and value in reading and writing. It would mean the world to me if he fell in love with it just like I did when I was little.
