Ananya Vijayavargiya

Hello and Namaste ! My name is Ananya Vijayavargiya. I am 18 years old and I am from India. My major is Advertising and Marketing Communications at the Fashion Institute of Technology. My hobbies are reading, writing, dancing, getting to know people and learning about everyone’s life. I come from a medium sized city in India and coming here is a big change for me. I have always had a keen interest in social science and studying history and political science interested me the most. Since quite a young age, I developed an affinity towards writing. I have a personal style blog and I scored well in my English Composition class at FIT. Writing is my passion and it is what I want to do for the rest of my life. I love debates and speeches. I love visiting museums and art galleries. After a few years, I would love to work for a magazine. But advertising is something that interests me immensely, too. I wish to be a part of a community as beautiful as the Odyssey because Odyssey is not just about blog writing, but it is a platform to gain mutual understanding and to help one another. I want to be a part of Odyssey because I am immensely interested in giving my thoughts a podium to shine, and to gain friends and peers from all over the world. The writing material displayed here at Odyssey is global, genuine and useful. And that is what I want to add to Odyssey, too. Being a citizen of the world and a person of diversity, I want to bring different perspectives and ideas to this community, and learn about life and work along the way.
