All About Steven Savage, His Album 'Woven,' And What's Coming Next
You won't want to miss a thing.
The man, the myth, the legend. Steven Savage!!!!!
Okay, okay, I'll try my best to remain as neutral as possible for this article, I get that that's my job, I really do. But come on! It's STEVEN SAVAGE. The guy I've been good friends with since middle school! Church camp, all region band, we've done a lot together and laughed a lot together. He's amazing!!
But alas, I will remain neutral.
Lucky for him, my neutrality won't affect the level of praise and excitement of this article one bit.
Steven has released his very own album, 'Woven' on May 10th of this year, and it's taken off more so than any of his previous releases.

He started free styling in locker rooms in junior high, and upon graduation he decided to join all of his fellow high school friends and start making songs of his own too. He came to a personal realization that his music wasn't what he wanted it to be, simply because he was trying to brag on and cultivate glory for himself rather than The One who gave him his musical abilities in the first place. Once he started to view his music as worship, the flip switched and that's gotten Steven to where he is today.
His earliest work was an EP titled 'Sincerely, The Joker' that released in 2017, and he's let out several singles since then ('Way-Oh,' 'Wildcard,' 'Would It Be Enough,' 'C-3po,' and '1'), all leading up to this album.

'Woven' is an eleven track look at what this past year of his life has been like on a vulnerable and personable level. He's giving his listeners an open and honest look at struggles with shame, guilt, and weakness, but amplifying how he notices God building him back up through it all.
And what's an album without a tour?!?!! Steven has been to Houston, Savoy, Gilmer, and San Antonio Texas already with even more unreleased dates up his sleeve. P.S. he is still open for booking, all you agents and events, and venues out there!!!
His next goal is to release both an EP and an album within the upcoming year and a half. If God opens a door for this to be full time, Steven will definitely be walking through that door, but he's content with singing being a side gig as well. Time will tell, and true fans are definitely in it for the long haul! (Myself included, duh. Personal fave: 'At the Bottom,' stream here!)

The Woven tour is still going strong so be sure to follow Steven on Instagram here so you can keep up with his latest whereabouts and releases! He personally gave me a sneak peek of an unreleased song titled 'Still I Ride' and I am a huge fan! it's way more mellow than his other tracks and you already know that's the kind of music I'm into!
Steven is a solid guy and musician alike, to know him is to love him, and to listen to his music is to become an instant fan! This definitely won't be the last you hear about him, and I would go so far as to say he's just getting started! Join his followers on Spotify here and add a few of his songs to your playlists while you're at it, you know you want to!
