I often describe myself as "high octane," moving faster than my mind allows with an imagination that often leaves me forgetting that animals don't have favorite colors and that clouds don't sing songs to the mountains. I have seen more dark times than I would care to admit, but have used that to relate to those facing strife for the first time and offer them comfort. I hope one day I am working for a publication I'm proud of, and that someone may find inspiration in an article of mine — that I might be someone's favorite writer — and that above all that I will be happy.
