My dream is to become a high school English teacher but am currently attending the Community College of Rhode Island for Early Childhood Education in the hopes of teaching kindergarten or first grade. Something interesting about myself is that I was homeschooled from second grade all the way through sixth in Illinois. I am a huge advocate for those with mental illness as it is something very close to my heart. I believe that openly talking about mental illness is important, but the topic lacks a true voice due to the negative stigma which surrounds it.
