Let's talk about action. There seems to be a mass phenomenon of disconnect between knowledge and action. Why is it that increased knowledge is not motivating people towards increased action.

The rise of the internet, smartphones, and social media has created a new social climate of awareness as a result of greater interconnectedness. But how is it that the public is growing more aware, yet nothing seems to be changing?

10 Better Uses For The Money Spent On The Super Bowl Commercials

I love watching football just as much as the next guy, but why do the commercials have to cost so freaking much? The Street reported that Pepsi spent $4.5 million for a 30-second segment. Syracuse.com compiled a list of costs from the first Super Bowl to now. 2017 averaged at $5.5 million. Yes, I understand that this is the most important game of the season. If over the top commercials are absolutely necessary for whatever reason, why not create them at a lower cost? Why not chill out on the hype of each commercial?

What if each year instead of fancy commercials the money that would've been spent was given back to an organization? Some representatives of each organization could work with a company to create an informative, low-cost commercial showing the world what good has been done with the money. The organization would get amazing exposure and potentially get those watching motivated to join the organization to make a change. Just a thought.

With the second largest population in the world, India is facing a water crisis that is reported by the Niti Aayog Report to only get worse as time goes on. Currently, 600 million are facing high to extreme water shortage that is attributed to a lack of government planning, increased corporate privatization as well as increased industrial and human waste. This contamination is not only present in their drinking water but also in other water sources. This, in turn, leads to the fact that 21% percent of the country's diseases are water related. While the government has tried to make improvements to the water filtration systems, these improvements are usually made in municipal areas rather than rural. Therefore, a large percentage of their population is left out and in turn do not have access to clean water.
