Psychologically titillating. Page Turning. You'll make it through this list in a single weekend - and then you'll be asking yourself can I quit my job and read full-time?
Get your hands on these books ASAP to start your fall off with some great reads.
1. "The Couple Next Door" by Shari Lapena
I love to predict the way a book is going to turn out and then seeing if any of my predictions are correct. "The Couple Next Door" makes guessing correctly impossible. With a new twist every few chapters, you can't possibly guess what might happen next.
2. "The Stranger Beside Me" by Ann Rule
For the lover of true crime! Ted Bundy is infamous, his name is recognized by everyone but Ann Rule is able to give a unique view on this well-known story. Rule considered herself a friend of Bundy, the story of his horrific crimes shocked her, and the little pieces of his personal life she is able to add kept me turning the pages and wishing for more.
3. "Behind Closed Doors" by B.A. Paris
Trust me, read this when the sun is shining. The storyline made my skin crawl and the depravity of the antagonist left me convinced you can never fully know someone.
4. "The Wife Between Us" by Greer Hendricks and Sarah Pekkanen
I thought I understood the storyline, I was convinced I had it all figured out, I was wrong. The story kept me on my toes, I couldn't devour it quickly enough. The second I finished the last page, I began looking for more books by these authors.
5. "The Need" by Helen Phillips
A story like you have never read before. The unique premise kept my interest from start to finish. Phillips was able to elicit emotions that I was unaware existed in me.
